The Main Stand is loosely based on the main stand at the Globe Arena. This stand has 14 VIP boxes along the back, each with 20 seats outside, so that's 280 VIP seats in total. There are 3328 Regular Seats, 36 press seats with desks, and 88 seats in the Directors Box. The stand is not actually as high as the LGS but including VIP boxes it has more rows because it is less steep. This would stop the LGS looking dominant over the rest of the ground as well. The Kingfield Road End is raised from the ground to improve sightlines, so you go up a few steps to reach the first row. The roof slants forward to improve atmosphere and block the sunlight from the south, and it would also block less light going to the houses behind on the Kingfield Road. Additional wheelchairs can be put in front of the KRE when necessary. Although it goes back slightly further than the current terrace, there is plenty of room for away fans to walk behind to the other side. The camera gantry also has refreshments for away fans served from under it and there are toilets behind one of the stands for away fans, accessed from under the gantry.
