KDY-Belderone XoXaan-Class Escort Frigate

The Emperor's blitzkrieg into the known galaxy left few companies in a position to relocate their assets before being conquered. When the Sith invaded Belderone Kuat Drive Yards had not even had the chance to inform its employees to evacuate. As a result the Empire was in control of KDY-Belderone's holdings, manufacturing facilities, and databanks. Now working under the administration of the Sith, KDY-Belderone made a number of starfighters and warships for the imperial cause, including the new XoXaan-Class. The Xoxaan was a modular multi-role frigate that could carry a half-squadron of Supremacy-Class Fighters in addition to its formidable firepower. The guns at its disposal included: two turbolaser turrets at the front and rear, three pairs of broadside mass driver deck guns, eight pairs of anti-starfighter blasters and a number of CIWS guns. These were all contained on the top-most section of the star-ship called the 'battle section'. Below it was usually housed the 'Command Pod', which would coordinate ships functions. The command pod also had three docking ports which were the primary means of boarding the ship besides its rather small hanger bay. Strategically the XoXaan was, as the name implies, primarily an escort ship which was used when Harrower-Class Dreadnoughts were unnecessary or indisposed. One such vessel was present above Sembla guarding an Imperial Intelligence Prison complex on one of the planet's islands. *- Model is very heavily based on Andywerk's 2014 Laimian Sho’raq-Class Light Gunship here in the 3D Warehouse. Andywerks does amazing sci-fi models on his website 3dmodelsforcomics.com. **- Also used several 'greeble packs' from Athanasius and Joe J. here on the warehouse. ***- This vessel is intended to be a SWTOR-Era version of the Nebulon B.
