Important printing note: Do NOT print vertically or on the side, it results in prints with weaknesses along the print lines. Print the stock fin with the rearside of the fin flat. Print the stick fin at 60 degrees so that the print runs the length of the stick, and the bouncy fin at about 60 degrees to achieve the same result.
Had a problem with the existing turtle fin blowing off the screws, due in part to sheer leverage and angle of the fin and also to the area around the screws being relatively thin as it wasn't designed for this purpose.
First option is the "stock" fin with reinforced screw holes. I find I have to remove the antenna to remove the pod with this mount.
Second option is a stick-style fin, it is light flexible and works well in short grass or on concrete. This is my daily flier, however it can fall down in longer grass or rough surfaces like a ploughed field. The pod can be removed as is.
The third option is a much chonkier traditional fin. I use this at events where I know the surface may be rough, it's an extra 5g over the stick fin but not getting stuck is priceless. If you crash as much as me this should be your event fin :p
