This is a charger plate that I created to fit a squirrel cage blower fan from eBay to a iMAX B6 because of the high temperatures I was noticing when doing 50 watt 6 cell charging. Attaching this should help with the iMAX's life span helping it keep cool to reduce the chance of a capacitor bursting to the constant high heat. I also think it looks cool; like a turbo or a jet.
I have attached the 123d file so you can edit the file however you may wish.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1.To install just remove the original plate where the power connects to.
2.Hot glue/epoxy the fan in place.
3.Then just connect the wires to the two circular (metallic) holes, then solder it in place
4.Just screw in the new plate with the fan connected and attached to the plate aannd done.
If you may wish one could drill holes in the opposite metal plate to increase ventilation.
