This is yet another cable transit through the top of a Lack table top or any other deck around 50mm thick. I've mounted my Anet A6 on a Lack enclosure and wanted to mount the PSU and Raspberry Pi externally to protect them from heat. I designed this to allow a USB lead and a couple of pairs of 12 Volt twin to pass through. There are two versions. The initial design had a 16mm internal bore but I found the back-nut became a bit scrappy looking due to the thickness of the threaded wall so I reduced the internal bore to 15mm which helps greatly. Unfortunately, some USB printer plugs have thicker casings which won't fit through the 15mm tube so I've uploaded both versions in case you have similar issues.
The penetration will accommodate deck thickness from 50mm to around 60mm which will leave around 5mm of thread biting.
I used a 25mm Forstner bit to ensure a nice clean cut in the cardboard that Scandinavians call furniture. There's only 2.5mm of bezel to cover any raggedness so take time to cut the hole neatly. Hope someone finds it useful.
Update. 29.05.19. Upon request, I've remodelled a set with 35mm flanges to give a bit more tolerance to ragged holes.
Update 06.08.19. Added 40mm version of the tube to suit IKEA Platsa modular system.
