Ice Blocks are interlocking/stackable modular ice packs which help organize your freezer, keep food cold and reduce energy use! They may be clipped together in multiple ways to create containers, shelving and subdivisions within your freezer.
Each Ice Block is 12x12x1cm, hollow and filled with freezer gel.
Compartmentalizing your freezer with Ice Blocks reduces the amount of energy required to maintain temperature by filling in empty spaces and containing items in smaller areas.
Ice Blocks help keep your food frozen longer when your home loses power. You can even take them on the go! Throw them in your beach cooler, lunch pale or just clip them into a cube! They also serve as an ice pack to relieve aches and muscle pain.
Each Ice Block should be printed with a hollow interior. Pause the print around 90%, fill the Ice Block with freezer gel (or salt water), then finish the print. This is in order to provide a seamless, leak-free structure. Each Ice Block is a simple, self contained ice pack that clips together in various ways and serves multiple purposes.
