The Type 24 was the most common of these small concrete bunkers, of which some 27,000 were constructed in a year or so, across Britain, as last-ditch defences against Nazi invasion. About 7,000 remain, many buried in hedgerows and open fields.

This detailed model, a prop for Poser, has material zones designed to remove brick shuttering, internal ricochet wall, and wooden shelves individually, for a host of effects; textures even show residue where these pieces have been removed. Even the underside is modelled and textured, for uprooting!

This version of the 24 incorporates features specific to locations in East Kent: the Stour vents, and the shuttering style employed on the Hoo Peninsula.
