This is an imperfect model of the human thoracic vertebrae T1-T12. Each vertebra is printed in two halves and can be superglued together.
It is a work in progress. Several vertebrae don't fit together perfectly, the costal facets are invisible, and the intervertebral foramina are closed down. That said, it is useful for learning osteo/arthrokinematics of thoracic spine movement and it combines with cervical and lumbar/sacral models that are available on Thingiverse to make a really neat, life-sized spinal column model (photo shown; model is hanging in the Richardson Library at DePaul University). I used modeling clay as intervertebral discs.
I would love it if someone fixed the issues listed above and remixed this model.
