I made this adapter after popular VRProtect didn't work out for me.
This one uses the same round 43mm lens purchased with these eyeglasses.
43mm lens snaps firmly into the adapter which then slides over stock Vive lens with a bit of friction. This is a more single user setup than VRProtect as it's not so quick to remove/install.
If you have astigmatism make sure to keep "up" orientation of lenses when installing. I think it's important, but someone with more knowledge please comment.
It keeps my lenses (-2.25) about 1mm away from vive lenses. With stock face gasket it allows to use vive at closest distace without touching my face.
Printed with PLA without supports on CR-10.
