This is a hard to print (but quick) test to check your printer and slicer capabilities.
It's useful to check and compare the resulting printing quality after each firmware update and to compare filament quality as well.
You can find three models optimized for nozzle size of 0.35mm, 0.40mm and 0.5mm, choose the one that matches your printer.
Useful things to watch in the print:
the unsupported bridges on back
the minimum clearance and wall thickness on left (nozzle size x 1, x 2, x 3, etc)
the minimum hole size on bottom (nozzle size x 1, x 2, x3, etc)
the details of two hemispheres, one filled and one empty
the precision of walls on the parallelepiped, from top counterclockwise nozzle size to nozzle size x 4
the details of the filled cylinder
the precision of increasing thickness walls on the empty cylinder (from nozzle size x1 to nozzle size x 4)
the unsupported spring
check dimensions of various objects in x,y and z to check your printer size precision. Take in account that the base is 1mm thick, hemispheres, cyclinders diameters and parallelepiped X and Y dimensions are 10mm.
I know there could be other interesting tests to add to this model, I'm working on it. If you want something specific please write me a comment, I'll take it in account when modeling next version.
Show me how your printer can print this model! (for sure better than my printer!)
This object gave me inspiration: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1019228 so I have to thank CtrlV :) (but this is not a remix)
