Thanks NASA & GrabCAD for this interesting Challenge: https://grabcad.com/challenges/nasa-challenge-a-common-restraint-and-mobility-aid-system-for-multiple-gravity-environments

My idea is to use Hook & Loop “touch fasteners made of Teflon loops, polyester hooks, and glass backing” fasteners already used by NASA in many applications "
the Loops will be fixed on Gloves, Sandals, Knee pads that the crew members will wear, and they will be made of durable fabric, accessories familiar to all of us, so for the crew members it will not be stressful to use them.
Instead the Hooks will be fixed in many different points in the habitat: on the ground, in walls, in ceilings, stairs, tunnels, worktops and in all places where crew members need.
Obviously, some Handrails go with Hook & Loop(solution), which crew members will use to move from one point to another, mounted where it is most needed, plus belts with Loops to use in case of need, for example maintaining a body or some object on the ground.

Touch fasteners are among the most useful creations that human beings have created, they are easy to use,and we use them in many aplications, from diving, mountaineering, military and aerospace, from the astronauts' suits, to anchoring equipment.
In the near weightless conditions in orbit, hook-and-loop fasteners are used to temporarily hold objects and keep them from floating away.

there are many types of hook&loops, they go according to use, from the traditional ones to the much stronger ones exceeding 35t / m2, but in our case, "considering that a weight on Earth of 90kg = 14.88 kg on the Moon, and 34.05 kg on Mars ", putting two strips(5cm x 5cm) of Loop under each foot, I think it is enough to keep the crew members on the ground when needed.

Good luck to all !!!

Best - Anouar
