IMPORTANT: I DID NOT CREATE THE IDEA FOR THIS ITEM. I MERELY USED AN IMAGE FOR INSPIRATION, AND RECREATED IT FOR 3D PRINTING. THE ORIGINAL DESIGNERS ARE Malorie Pangilinan AND Luz Cabrera. THE LINK TO THE ORIGINAL DESIGN IS: https://www.behance.net/gallery/16925735/Honey-Im-Home . I DO NOT TAKE CREDIT FOR THE IDEA, I ONLY TAKE CREDIT FOR THE MODELS. THE FIRST FOUR IMAGES OF THE ORIGINAL DESIGN = CREDIT TO THE DESIGNERS.
P.S. A FEW FILES MIGHT NEED TO BE RE-ORIENTATED. MAKE SURE THE LARGER NAIL HOLE IS ON TOP, AND THE SMALLER ONE ON BOTTOM
I saw an image that showed something of the sort. It inspired me to create a 3d printable version. The image/s that I got the inspiration from are the first image, and last few images shown.
This wall decoration key holder has several files:
HoneyCombWallSingle - This file is a single wall cell.
HoneyCombKeyChain -This file is what you attach your keys to
HoneyCombWall - This file is a random arrangement of multiple Honeycomb cells.
HoneyCombNailPeg - This file is the peg that you insert into the blank hole after nailing the cells to the wall.
I used the dimensions of a common nail I had lying around. Its length from point-head is about 38mm. The shank diameter is about 1.6mm, and the head diameter is about 4.0mm. I recommend using the highest resolution your printer allows, to make sure the nail holes are precise/accurate.
If you have a better way of attaching it to the wall, please tell me or make a remix of it.
