I've included a full scale and HO scale Sketchup model. The model can be used as an operating or non operating light. This one is lighted with (3) 3mm white LEDs and a single 56 Ohm resistor in the base.I printed everything in white except the lights to prevent bleed through. I used the brass rod to look like electrical conduit running up the tower, but the (2) rods actually supply the power to the lights. To assemble the tower I included a temporary square to help support the tower segments. Slide them into the square one at a time from the top and square them up. Glue (Medium CA) the bottom of each segment to the base starting with the section that holds the conduit, aligning it to the holes in the base. Then carefully work your way up using tape and or small clamps to keep the corners tight. Then glue the odd looking piece to the top aligning all the sections. The LEDs will sorta snap into place when they are all the way in the housings. I used (2) short pieces of the brass rod to solder the vertical rods and the lights. I painted it aluminum and then clear flat.
