Although the Ultimaker 3 (extended) is an almost complete 3D printing machine, a front door is missing. Ultimaker themselves recommend a front door especially for higher tempertature prints (e.g. ABS). A fornt door improves the temperature stabilization inside the machine for better printing results.
The proposed set of things comprises all items to install such a front door. I adapted a transparent 4 mm acrylic plate to the printer's cutout. The hinge parts on the door side as well as the grip handle must be fixed to the plate by use of M3 screws and nuts. The both frame-side hinge parts should be fixed to the printer's front plate with small countersunk drywall bolts e.g. 2.5 mm x 10 mm.
