Make in pairs (I made a set for each wing). Each requires 12-1/2 feet of 2' x 4' lumber; 5 feet of 1-1/4' Schedule 40 PVC pipe plus one tee, one cap and two elbows (plus cleaner and glue); strong carpenter's glue; 8 3-inch wood screws; 2 5-inch bolts, 4 nuts and 8 washers (I used 1/4-20); 3 3-1/2 inch bolts, 3 teenuts, 1 4' carriage bolt, 1 nut, 1 T-handle and 5 washers (I used 5/16'). These can be made without casters; in that case, you'll probably want to use some feet for leveling. The two uprights are glued and screwed to the main (long) leg. The center leg is attached with four screws with washers uder the heads to keep them from sinking in under stress; the leg can be removed for storage or transport). Height adjustment holes are drilled every two inches in the 20' vertical members. The PVC pipe holder is a pair of 2 x 4 x 6' blocks with 1-5/8' holes drilled through them; then they're sawed in half. The lower part is glued and screwed to the vertical, and the upper part bolts to the lower one. The rear holder is primarily for support, and can be left just loose enough to let the PVC pipe turn; the front one features an easy adjustment -- you can tighten it to keep the wing steady, or loosen it to allow it to rotate. #Aircraft #Airplane #Highlander #Homebuilt #Just #Rotisserie #Wing
