Best printed in PETG if you have an all metal hot end for temp resistance to bed temp +60 degrees.
Am working on V2.1 of this mount with articulated 30mm fan mounts to adjust both height from bed and aim of airflow. Please msg me if interested.
This design required brass m3 expandable threaded inserts available from RS components.
15mm coil spring, 5 x M3 x 25mm, 2 x M3 x10mm.
Mount is mounted with M3 bolts through the pillow bearings from the back so the complete mount can be removed without changing the Z axis offset of the hotends.
Z offset from 0 is +/- 2mm.
Designed for dual E3D V6 hotends.
Please flip the clamp in your slicer to suit left / right side use.
Design can be modified to use M3 nuts in place of expanding inserts.
Hotend x offset in your slicer / marlin should be 32mm as a starting point before tuning.
