This is a collection of hex bases designed to fit over the raised center sections of Heroscape tiles, in several sizes and shapes. There are nine designs -- one- to five-hex linear rows, a three-hex triangle, a four-hex diamond, a two-by-three-hex block, and a seven-hex circle. These can be used to create terrain objects by attaching objects to the face of the base, which can then be placed on a mapboard.
The bases are printed inverted to remove any bridging issues.
The single base is sized to fit over a 38mm face-to-face raised hex; all the other bases are sized to fit over 38mm hexes separated by 44.5mm, matching the hex pattern of Heroscape tiles.
The source file in OpenSCAD generates correctly-sized bases with a unit measurement in OpenSCAD being 0.1mm when I load the resulting STL file into the front-end software for my 3D printer; if your slicing software correctly takes 1 unit as 1mm, then scale down the STL file by a factor of 10 to produce the correct size.
