Is the local commander of the 501st giving you grief because you don't have anything resembling a Hengstler on your blaster? Here's my attempt to help. This is a detail for a pipe built E11 stormtrooper blaster. Yeah. A fake one. It's not as if having real ones ever helps the Empire anyway. It's common knowledge that Imperial stormtroopers can't aim to save their lives. The Hengstler counter goes on the left side of the blaster. If you don't already know this, chances are that you'll be completely uninterested in this little piece. I haven't had the opportunity to check the measurements against an actual Hengstler counter, if any blaster builders out there do, please let me know how it compares. I've based it all on reference material from the web, adding as much detail as I could from drawings and pictures. The Blaster Builders Club and White Armour pages are great sources. There's a lot of pieces to print for this prop. That's because our K8200 don't really do overhangs and bridging, so any printer should be able to print it like this. NOTE: The STL with the assembled Hengstler is there for reference only. I can't guarantee that it's printable. Netfabb reports several problems with it, and I couldn't be arsed to fix them. The others are scrupulously inspected and test printed and should print fine. I'm currently working on an M38 scope to go with it. I'll probably end up making all the bits and bobs to go on the pipe build, but I'm doing it on whatever spare time I've got, so it may take time. I'll publish pieces when I'm happy with them.
