Simple enclosure for my Brenda 3d printer.
Should work for other printers as well.
printed parts:
-drillhelp, the hole is a bit closer to the edge (2.5mm) so the round edge of the extrusions stays visible.
-door parts
-lcd holder (doesn't fit perfectly but was good enough for me).
-IEC holder
-the atxboard is you use the board from https://www.staticboards.es/productos/atxboard/
I would advise to use different crimps as the provided solution is a bit high, I used a seasonic sfx 350 watt psu.
things to buy:
-polycarbonate, I found mine pre-cut at a good price here:https://kunststofplatenshop.be/polycarbonaat-platen/helder/
I used 5mm but if I would have to do it again I would maybe try with less (the doors should be 5), 5mm is ok but the weight is a bit much.
If you want to know all measurements (only usefull when you build the same Brenda printer) let me know.
-extrusions and a couple of squares and a lot of nuts (stainless).http://www.motedis.com/shop/Slot-profiles/Profile-20-I-Type-slot-5/Mechanical-Maker-Packs-20x20-I-Type-slot-512-x-1000mm::5013.html

screws are from rsonline (stainless):http://benl.rs-online.com/web/p/socket-screws/1838660
Heaters are also rsonline (15 watt each):http://benl.rs-online.com/web/p/products/1592049/http://benl.rs-online.com/web/p/products/0467406/http://benl.rs-online.com/web/p/products/1217322/
If you want to mount the led strip in tubes like I did, this fits:http://benl.rs-online.com/web/p/products/2822256/
put a little bit of oil on the led strip if it wont slide in the tube, I used bike oil.
WARNING:
The heaters are 220 volt, make sure to earth to enclosure with alu squares as polycarbonate is not conductive.
should be safe if you use wago or similar.
If you need any help, just let me know, I'll measure some things and take some more pictureshttps://youtu.be/7eRQ2vhsQDU
