The HC Maker 7 has a very tall Z frame with very little support at the base and does tend to wobble. The self fastening parts mount blocks fit onto the frame at the top and front left and right corners. Cut an approx 550mm M10 threaded rod and screw on two of the threaded end blocks one at each end, and fit those to the mounting blocks with an M4 machine screw, and your done. Adjustment is made simply by removing one end of the end block and twisting the threaded end block in or out by 1/2 turn increments. To make that easier I filed a flat on both sides of each threaded rod somewhere around the middle. Flat enough each side so a spanner could hold it while I turned the end blocks.
The mounting blocks will have to be printed with some support.
Note: I haven't uploaded the OpenSCAD source for the HC Maker 7 model. You will have to comment that out to get it to render. I will upload the model separately at some stage.
