smooth - sometimes you need a pad without teeth
inside and outside corner - to clamp round material or hold a joint of two materials square
soft - has an indented area in the surface to apply a foam pad for a clamp with a softer grip (indented area stops the pad from slipping off the pad)
point - if you need a clamp for a more precise clamping.
hey i like this clamp and i am bored waiting for stuff to print. lol
