This design can be used to mount a hall effect sensor (Hall-E-Endstop http://max3dshop.org/index.php/default/elektronik/radds-hall-o-endstops-3-3-5volt.html?___SID=U) to the Ultimaker Clone. This type of sensor has the nice property that the switching distance can be adjusted by a potentiometer without having to use screws or moving it physically.
Drill the holes and tap for M3 screws; insert M3 nuts. The Hall-E-Endstop is mounted to the rod and the magnet holder is clamped to the vertical bearing. Glue the magnet on the top of the mount, adjust positions and tighten the clamping screws.
