Fisichella claims his second Italian pole, while Ferrari struggle.---Jens Kohl wins the World Grand Prix after a classic Monza slipstream battle with 5 other cars. The former F1 champion, making his 2nd appearance for Newportman GPWS, takes the win ahead of Takuma Sato. Sato just holding off Wood by 0.002s. Fisichella took fourth, while Adam Carroll charged through the field to take 5th on the last lap from Davidson, who would finish 6th. Mike Rockenfeller continued his points battle with Sinate, now leading his team mate by 5 points after finishing 7th. Bondovic got 8th, ahead of ORT owner Monteiro, who did well to take points on his series debut. Meyrick took the final point in 10th. Parente had a very slow 2nd pitstop, and as a result dropped to the back, he passed 6 cars to get to 16th, setting fastest lap in the process.
