Melbourne-Pacific Grand Prix. The Brand New GPworld series kicks off with a bang in Australia for the Pacific Grand Prix. Mike Rockenfeller qualifies on pole after Juan Villa dominates practice but crashes in Qualifying.-----Felixamir Bondovic wins the first ever race for his fathers Bondovic International-Aston Martin Racing team on the very wet Albert Park Circuit. He wins after passing Sony Newportman Mercedes' Matthew Wood for the lead 10 laps from the end. Wood finishes second ahead of Pole-man Rockenfeller, who has a bad start and falls behind his team-mate Sinate, but passes him late in the race to take the final podium position. Sinate Bags fourth while Wood's team-mate Juan Villa makes up large ground to finish 5th after starting 20th, setting the fastest lap in the process. Alvaro Parente takes 6th, ahead of Lotus driver Sebastien Flier, WRI'sHywel Lloyd and Anthony Davidson. Graham Rahal did very well to get 10th despite starting near the back.
