GPS mount Matek M8Q-5883

Preliminary design for testing purposes and GPS optimisation. This mount will be changed wrt ground plane and lowered height.
Frontal GPS mount for the Matek M8Q-5883 for the MicroLongRange frame. Placing the GPS here will reduce noise and magnetic interference to a minimum. It will also not induce propeller disturbance compared to placement at the tail (where mounts will affect propeller thrust).
This is a set of tests for obtaining adequate GPS (hdop<1.0). After several designs at the back, I could only get a maximum of 1.8 and 7 satellites. The current used VTX and RF equipment is very noisy, impeding reliable GPS accuracy and mag. COG is centred forward slightly, and battery placement should be adjusted. weight is about the same as an extended tail platypus, couple of grams.
