The GP9rm was a rebuilt diesel locomotive in service with the Canadian National Railway. All models have since been retired from active service. However the loco is quite an interesting one, that has a few fans among model railroaders.
So far no accurate commercial (mainstream) model has been available, only a resin kit from Kaslo Shops. This Thing is planned to fit onto (or rather under) the frame of a Proto2000 GP 18 locomotive chassis.
Obviously the pipes are very delicate and still have to prove to be printing successfully (not very likely). I left them on so interested modelers can see how thei were attached an replace them with wire on an actual model. I plan to make an optimized variant, but I'm changing printers and the new Tevo has not yet arrived.
I made a cab too, but it is much too delicate for FDM printing. I had it built commercially instead. Twp photos show a print made on an Anet A6 and the thing attached to a model. It needed quite some tweaking though.
Made in Blender. Comments welcome.
