GoPro Clip to Balljoint with a 7mm Shaft
It's just a quick mount to hold a cheap telescoping inspection mirror on a bike helmet. The ball is split so that it can compress and hold the shaft when the screws tighten.
It's threaded for 6/32 but I ended up using sheetmetal screws, just because (apparently) the 6/32 screws I had were slightly too long. Couldn't be bothered to cut them.
GoPro clip because I decided to standardize on that for mounting stuff. No idea what patents GoPro may have on that clip so I'd not be running off to production with this.
Printed in PETG and the clips work fine. Never tried PLA. They don't have the GoPro locking plug so I'd not be hanging anything valuable off them, they can be forced out without releasing the tabs, but this mirror isn't exactly spendy.
I threw a clip plate in as well even though it's flat rather than curved like you'd want for a helmet. But, you know, you can buy these clip plates on ebay for cheaper than you can print them. Printing is for the custom stuff.
All the files should be orientated properly for printing, no supports required. The ball has a flat on the bottom side for adhesion to the bed. Assembly should be fairly obvious.
