Goat Barn

This summer, I may build this little barn for my three pygmy goats. It is designed to store a small amount of hay (enough for about a week) and 50 lbs. of grain. It also had an area for them to eat, a 7 gallon heated water bucket and a raised platform with a 2x4 surround to create a hay bed where they can sleep. It will be insulated and I am thinking of using a unique arrangement of heavy canvas like tarps for the doors. I may completely eliminate the back opening and clean from the front. This will replace their much more spacious but also more drafty and wet 10' x 20' portable, costco, canvased carport where they have lived for the past 5 years or so. I have a separate shed where I will store the bales of hay. #goat_barn #wood_frame
