George Jetson
by Cults
Last crawled date: 6 years, 2 months ago
George Jetson, from the comic strip The Jetsons, by Hanna-Barbera.
George resides with his family and his dog Astro in Orbit City in the future. His personality is that of a well-meaning, caring father, but he is often befuddled and stressed out by the problems of both his work and family lives.
No supports are required. If you have the proper filament colors, no painting is needed.
The model is 260mm tall. Due to some small parts, the model should not be sized smaller, but can be sized larger without issue.
Enjoy!

Printing and assembly tips
Printing tips
1-As with most of my models, no supports are required.
2-Be sure to clean any first layer squish if you have any problem joining parts. The parts should fit nicely when printed cleanly or with a slight first layer squish.
3-I did not require any rafts or brims for any of the parts, however use your judgement as some parts have small bases:
hand_left
hand_right
arm_left
arm_right
..
Assembly tips:
1-The left/right eyebrows are quite small and are actually modeled to fit a certain way, however since they are so small that as long as they look good it should be fine any way they are positioned.
2-The left/right eyewhites and left/right eyeblacks are interchangeable.
3-Before gluing the stripes and buckle, be sure to bend them a bit since they are being glued to a slightly rounded part.
4-If the rings around the pants are too snug, simply sand a tiny bit off the part that touches the pants. A tiny sanding makes a big difference in how high the rings fit.
5-Since there are a bunch of tiny black parts I printed two sets of each part. I knew I'd drop and lose a part while putting the model together.
6-Refer to the assembly diagram for putting the model together. The model is meant to be glued.
