Gaslands is a tabletop game of post-apocalyptic vehicular mayhem. With fast and cinematic rules, it is designed to be played with toy cars, allowing players to ram, skid and race their way through the wreckage of a burnt-out Earth.
Working on a few bits and parts to help make your Gaslands cars truly ready for Race Day. I made little bits of armor plating, spikes for the wheels, and other accessories.
Armor Plating: I made a bunch of different sizes with rivets.
Diamond Plate: added some diamond plate sheets, and one with a gun/view port built in. The sm pattern pushed the limit of my machine for detail, so test medium and small first.
Poles: a bunch of "things" on poles to attach to your cars to get that proper "war boys" look for your hot rods. They will print with a flat on one side, but you can't really see it at scale when it's glued on, and the flat helps you get some bed adhesion.
Flags: The flags are printed really thin, with the idea that you can use a little heat to set in the "wave" or just bend them with your fingers.
Wheel Spikes: I included a thin connecting strip to hold the set of four together while printing and help with bed adhesion. You can easily cut the strip off with scissors or a craft knife. Also made four different styles of spikes as well.
New front Rams: Added two versions with "jagged metal blades" and a skull ram.
Pipes: Side mounted pipes of various configurations, meant to be glued to the side of a car. If they don't sit flush on a curved surface you can probably blast them with a hair dryer on High and bend them a little.
VERY IMPORTANT: To have any success with these models print "low and slow". I use 0.08 layer height, and HALF my printer speed, and they come out pretty good.
I have quite a few models available for Star Wars Legion as well, just check my profile for links. I put a lot of time into making these models, so if you're inclined a tip wouldn't hurt. https://www.thingiverse.com/sablebadger/about
