As a contribution in fighting against Covid-19, I designed this BiPAP Artificial Respirator which may help people with the disease. It is a fully printable, simple and low-cost device which works with the crankshaft principle. In fact, a simple electric motor rotates a disk which makes a slot move forward and backwards. An explaining video can be found here:

For simplicity, neither stepper motor is needed, nor Arduino programing. The motor can be replaced by any rotating device like a drill or an electric screwdriver.

Owing to the large number of patients occupying hospitals, AmbuBag can be unavailable, so no AmbuBag is needed.

Because peep valves are expensive, I used the one designed by Filip Kober.

The device can supply 1, 2, 4, 6, or 10 patients depending on the motor's power.

The manufacturing method is 3D printing and the materials will be as follow:
1. Check valve and O-rings are to be printed in flexible resin or TPE filament;
2. The pump main body and the mask to be printed preferably in translucent PLA;
3. Due to its Smell, avoid using ABS filament for printing Piston and connectors;
4. Hoses are the commercial and standard ones;
5. The remaining parts will be printed in PLA or ABS.

The design of the head, the mask and the motor were imported from following:

- The Mask: https://grabcad.com/library/mask-for-respirator-free-reanimation-venturi-s-valve-1
- Motor: https://grabcad.com/library/electric-motor-79

Hope that it will be useful.
