I've got a 23ft long model of a British Type 21 Frigate. For 30 years it's been steam powered but now my crew and I are getting too old and fat to bother with the complications. I'm going to convert it to electric and I want to make it look more interesting. I'm designing a new deck and I'll be posting scaled down possibilities here as .stl files if anyone else wants to play around. When the model is finished I'll scale up to full size with foam and fiberglass. When finished the boat will seat three below deck and maybe a fourth above for docking maneuvers. The scale I picked is pretty arbitrary and the model doesn't quite fit on a CR-10 so I've lopped off the stern and made it a separate piece to be added later.
PS the hull is flat on the bottom because I can't design worth a damn.

1) Uploaded Nelson_Stern_Section_05 which has a rudder post for a 3mm rudder shaft.
2) Uploaded Nelson_Hull_02 which has a hole for a shaft log and a slot for a keel
3) Uploaded Keel_02 which includes a shaft log. Best to print that one with a brim and support 'Touching Buildplate'
4) Uploaded Battleship_02.png showing Harpoon upgrade. Files will follow.

--Redesigned everything; old files gone and new files now complete. I've included a half model of the hull for anyone who wants to mess with interior components.
December 14:
--Messing around with different bridge layouts. Opinions??
