The theme of this challenge is "to combine two or more existing models to make something new and exciting!"
I then searched in the large GraCad library some models, then I made some additions and I loaded everything in SpaceClaim that has worked very well interpreting various Step files, repairing some errors in spite the file has reached a considerable size, 424MB!!

Here is the list of components:
Wheels:
These wheels are derived from model loaded by 500 Group for his "SuperCar Challenge".
Since the original step format had some defects I had remodeled the rims as solids and uploaded here several months ago:

Brakes:

http://grabcad.com/andre.ratsep
For suspension I used these:
http://grabcad.com/library/suspension--4
of http://grabcad.com/steve.roumeliotis very actually push rod type,
adapted for the front and rear.
Some pieces of the steering
http://grabcad.com/library/hydraulic-power-steering-system of
http://grabcad.com/mike.baschuk
For the engine, I used the V8
http://grabcad.com/library/v8-gm-350-turbo of
http://grabcad.com/nicolas--28 and Carlos Fuentes.
I still had to choose a body shop. The current formula one cars are not very pretty,
forced within narrow limits of regulation and conditioned by the search of the ground effect at all costs. I then chose a beautiful aerodynamic shape, the fuselage of a glider!:

http://grabcad.com/aptilla
I invert the orientation of the wings to prevent the car take flight!
I moved the wing of the rudder to the front in a similar position of the March 711 of 70'
For the rear wing I used this:

http://grabcad.com/heriberto.maruzza
For the seat I used:
http://grabcad.com/library/sports-car-seat of
http://grabcad.com/tauseef.alam
Since the radiator of V8 motor was very big I divided into two parts and placed in two underwing pods
along with the two radiators of the double intercooled turbo.
The fuselage of the glider is in two places, at first I thought of making it single, but then I saw that the separation between the two cockpit could serve as a safety roll bars.
The result seems like a cross between a plane, a current formula one and one of the sixties were much near to aeronautics technique.
I saw that SpaceClaim can save in PDF format e several others as you can see from the screenshots.
For the completion of the machine would lack many parts but I think that SpaceClaim is able to manage even really many parts.
I also strongly believe that looking in the library GrabCad you could find many other components to add…
and then you could make a road version! ....
