This is the result of a sad story in the reprap-movement.
I share the files, Benjamin McDaniels has created and sold to me in form of the ready assembled bot. I like his concept and luckily he has published his files under GPL. Because they are gone, it is my turn to reupload them, so the rest of the movement can get their finger on it.
Sad story? Not for this files. Not for me -all in all- but for s few funders (check Japica on Kickstarter..) and buyers (check Japica on ebay..). Well, the bot, what was delivered is far away from a professional "best printer from the USA", how he has called his invention in former times. Well, i got it in my hands for a price I had accepted. But others may havent had this luck. I had written many nice and kind emails and could threaten Japica with personal visit. Japica has found its way to Kickstarter and has canceled the funding after 5000$ for its new concept. I can call myself lucky because Japica has not reached Kickstarter before they have seen themself in a position, i which i could have destroyed the funding even before it has begun by posting about the delivering-time of about half a year. Make the emails public.
well, i got my bot. kind of a prototype. (have a look: http://youtu.be/FKxTzyK6H7k ) rough edges to fix. it couldnt work like it was delivered. sold as tested, but even the headbed is not equal. it has three different qualitys of prints. but there it is. I had have wished all luck for Benjamin McDaniels firm and development, promised to support him with high quality videos and comments. But Japica refused by sending a half-baked bot without any description. Nor support. Now the firm is gone, all files and reputations on Japicas own profile here in Thingiverse with it and support can only delivered by us, the community itself. Get the files! I think until now, it was a good concept, well developed, smooth design.
Thanks to DatenKrieger now there are 3 missing parts recoverted!1!!
well, i have forgotten to ask:
if someone could sent me a good firmware for the Japica printer, i would upload this at well. i could need some help with the configuration. and stuff.
