When using the LARGE FIGURE LADYBUG, you DO NOT need to parent the figure!! just apply the pose.

In order to use the PROP POSES, load the figure into the scene and parent PROP Victoria 4's Hip

(Object> Change Parent> V4> Hip)

then apply PROP pose.
