Made from dimensional lumber (five 2x3s) and a sheet of 1/2” or 3/4” plywood, this Folding Mobile Workbench can be made for around $50 (USD). (That price is based on “normal” plywood prices - not the inflated, pandemic-based, supply chain problems prices!) When folded for storage and placed against a (e.g. garage) wall with the top and base side by side, it only protrudes from the wall by 5”. When stored with the base in front of the top, it protrudes from the wall by just 8 1/4”. See the ‘Cut List’ layer for dimensions on each part.
