Folding dressing stick with paper grabber attachment by speedpjg

This dressing stick is folding so that a person with limited mobility can bring it easily in a suitcase. I designed this for my mother in law, who has a dressing stick she likes to travel with. The problem with her current stick is that it sticks out of the bag when she travels. This makes it annoying to travel with. I also created a paper grabber so that someone who cannot bend easily can use the paper grabber attachment to pick up a paper that has been dropped onto the floor. This is a simple task but very hard for someone with rheumatoid arthritis.
Update 1: I successfully printed most of the parts, and I have assembled the dressing stick! The sleeves that slide over the joints to keep the stick from folding are a little oversize. I will be measuring and adjusting the files accordingly. Watch for new uploads here with adjusted slides for the joints.
Update 2: I adjusted the sleeve for better fit and uploaded that file. I also finished printing the folding dressing stick and added pictures of it. I need to still work a little more on the pins so they do not fall out so easily.
Update 3: I uploaded a new pin file (v3) and removed the old pin files. I cleaned out the pin holes with a 15/64th drill bit and now the pins are tighter fit with the new pin files. The stick seems to be fully functional now! I will be giving it to my mother in law to see how she likes using it.
