This is project of Foldable CNC mill. The idea was to make CNC machine with fully adjustable workspace. You can put it on your table in kitchen and make some ornaments on corners or hang it on your front door and engrave your house address and after that when you finish your work you can easily disassemble it and forget that you need some extra space for big and heavy CNC machine :)
What you need to build it:
2x gate_holder.stl
2x main_gate_holder.stl
2x cover_slider_Y.stl
1x main_slider_Y.stl
1x main_slider_Y_MiR.stl
1x XZ_cross.stl
1x SliderX_1.stl
2x Slider_Z.stl
1x Z_spindle_holder.stl
1x Z_engine_holder_stl
2x butterfly.stl
4x support.stl
Depends on spindle you have (I have cheap Verto 135W hand mill)
1x holder_vero.stl
1x holder_verto_2.stl
Spindle holder part has a lot of holes. It is possible to use it with different spindles, lasers or extruders.
You need also:
5m pipe 25mmx1mm (4x1m, 2x0,3m and 2x0,19m)
300mm of M6 threaded rod.
36x 626zz ball bearing (6x19x6)
6x 624zz ball bearing (4x13x5) for tooth belt
2x F6-14M thrust bearing (6x14x5) for Z axis
3,5m of GT2 6mm tooth belt
3x GT2 20 tooth pulleys
4x 42mmx42mm stepper motors 0,5Nm with 5mm shaft
1x CNC shaft coupler (5mm/6mm)
4x small bar clamps
Screws: (cylindrical, hex socket head screw)
12x M6x20
8x M6x30
4x M6x40
8x M6x45
2x M5x15
4x M5x20
4x M5x25
8x M5x35
2x M5x40
2x M5x45
4x M5x50
4x M5x60
16x M3x12
Small philips head:
6x M4x25
hex head:
2x M5x50
33x M6 Nuts
32x M5 Nuts
6x M4 Nuts
I have had some issues with slipping main gate holders and I have used sandpaper glued to small part of gate holder like on photo.
To lock tooth belt I have used small pieces of cutted plastic clamps.
I have used GRBL with Arduino nano and 3x StepSticks to drive my machine.

There are so many questions in comments and in private messages about redesigning something to fit your parts that I decided to share Inventor project on google drive:https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B-ExPzdxcHOwV0o4eWRkbkVDdXc?usp=sharing
