NOTE: This only works for the newer Spec V with the aluminium light fitting
This is a derivative of my Spec V jump guard which is designed for better reflection of light into the tank.

There's two pieces: an inner piece and an outer piece, which slide on one after the other


Simply print both pieces, assemble onto the light fitting and line with aluminium tape as pictured

There are two versions of the inner piece - one without a feeding hole, and one with a hole intended as a feeding hole, but it doesn't quite line up right with the lid. I'm planning to make something to slot into the hole to guide food into the tank
It's difficult to capture the before/after effect due to my camera auto adjusting the brightness but it's definitely improved the lighting a bit.
I strongly recommend printing the small test piece and sliding it onto your light fitting first to ensure it fits, because this is quite a long print and it's possible there have been manufacturing changes to the light that I'm not aware of. If you find it difficult, try widening the slide-on bits at the end of the print with a Stanley knife - as printers that are prone to creating bulges at corners may cause issues in this area.
