Fuel Filter wrench for Freightliner XCR chassis/Cummins ISL8.9L turbo diesel engine using a Fleetguard FF63009 fuel filter.
FF63009v2 is Version 2 of this design. The wrench test worked out very well...the socket fits the filter and the 1/2" drive socket fits my extension. In the second version...the socket wall thickness was increased slightly. The depth of the socket was increased slightly as well as the depth of the 1/2" drive opening. I recessed the lettering...and created a second file with lettering should you want to combine the two using two different filaments on a dual head printer like the Flash Forge Creator Pro.
Testing the full print...strangely, the 1/2" drive socket is very tight...trimmed overextruded edges...fits, but very tightly. I may need to investigate heat treating the wrench to strengthen the wrench to enable it to handle the design torque. Socket still fits nicely...didn't need to make it quite as deep as I did.
