This is an adaptation of the original "IKEA Not Lamp wall sconce mod" by tlalexander.

I modified the block that attaches it to the wall to...
a) Make it stronger
b) Tilt it at an angle so that the lamp looks like a wall torch.
The idea came about while trying to create a medieval-themed wall in my living room. I wanted to create an artificial flaming wall torch by installing flame LED bulbs into the top half of the standard Ikea floor lamp you see in the sample picture.
I discarded the standard Ikea lampshade and replaced it with the amazing Gothic Lantern by Shira, which fits straight on to the Ikea lamp fitting without any adaptations required.
In reality, this looks amazing and quite realistic.
