This is a simple Billy Bookcase with Oxberg Glass doors from Ikea. This is in the initial stages. The unit is built, filament is just sitting on the shelf, however I am looking for something I can print to hold them in place. I will be sealing the doors and anywhere air can get into this bookcase. I also bought rechargeable silica desiccant de-humidifier boxes for the top and bottom of the bookcase. I also bought a digital hygrometer to measure the humidity inside the unit. The LED lights are also from Ikea called Dioder. I still need to tidy up the wiring a bit and install the lower shelves which will display some of my prints and I also have another set of lights that will be installed on the lower half. I have been looking for a year on ideas on how to store...or rather display filaments and prints in the same area. The only thing I was finding where plastic storage bins which I didn't like plus cluttered up to much. I searched for 2 months for something used everything I found in my area was either sold or people thought they where made of pure gold! Please pardon the glare. From my monitors. As you can see this fit perfect in the Nerd Cave. My Micro3D fits pretty good on the shelf as well. Barely use this printer. Mainly I am on my 2 FF Creator Pro's and my Robo3D R1. Let me know if you have any questions or other ideas. Racks are movable so any size spool will fit!!
