Adjustable Reel Bearing
Sized for 3/4" PVC pipe arbor. Can use 1/2" steel round stock with bushing. Will cover a 57-75 mm reel opening. 57, 60, 63, 66, 69, 72, 75 mm.
Printer:
Check bed/nozzle clearance. The 1st filament layer should be same as rest to try and get square edges. Best to print the rollers separate so the speed can be dialed down to 30-40% when the pins are printed. I would use a timer. Pins print in about the last 10 min or around the 6.3 mm height.
Cleanup:
Remove ridges on vertical edges, chamfer holes and flat sand components. A
finger/finger nail will help. Use a knife to slice down between the rows you plan to keep and the ones that can be cut away with a diagonal cutter.
Bearing Rollers:
I would start with the 15.5 mm roller. String them on a 7/32 drill bit by hand (pliers/rag). Spin the bit while holding file/sand paper to the rollers. Round is good. Next, Spin the bit while holding the outer most roller to clean the inside hole and remove one at a time. I also chamfered the holes. Running drill motor in reverse might help break them loose.
Can drill rollers with a #1 index bit for a 0.21 mm looser fit. Rollers should spin freely. Lube if desired.
Apply glue to hold bearing together. Same treatment with reel. Three drops of glue will do and make it easy to remove bearing when reel is empty for reuse. Can add tape to make a snug fit.
A race bushing is included. Two of these with a section of 3/4" PVC will allow the use of 1/2" round stock for an arbor.
All rollers are compatible. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1395978
