Simple design to hold 2Kg spools or basically any spool without fiddling with the screws of the filamentholder on the sidewinder x1.
The weight being on top of the printer creates defects, so i thought of a way to create a spoolholder from the brackets u have on top of your sidewinder X1.
U need nothing, no screws, no bearings just your Sidewinder X1 Parts.
Part 1 - Filamentholder :(no support)
Unscrew your metal brackets on top of your sidewinder, keep the 4 screws safe u need them for part 3(Filamentguide).
As soon as you have printed 2 rolls Insert the metal brackets into your printed part with the laps being aligned with the print and the rolls inbetween it.
May need to take a rubber hammer depending on your tolerances.(or just print on 101% but u should be fine anyways! exept u have a really bad printer/Settings)
Part 2 - Rolls/Roll2: (with supports)
Print 2 rolls for front and back. Put them between ur brackets before inserting the brackets into part 1. Its very difficult to do it afterwards without bending.
V1:Curved (Selfcentering)
V2: Straight works in most cases better depending on Spool provided.
Part 3 - Filamentguide:
Screw this part back to where your metal brackets where on top of the Printer, take the 4 screws from the brackets.
