At least for on my new Ender 3 v2 it was still not a tight fit and I could insert piece of 1.75mm filament between the guide and the filament holder metal bracket.
The change I made is that I've made the hole 2mm shorter makeing it a really tight fit. I even had to use some force to put it in place.
