On certain long moves of the printhead, my filament would sometimes unreel from the spool and tangle around the spoolholder.
So I designed two parts, which also can easily be used standalone:
A filament guide which is held in place by the acrylic hood. It will hold the filament at a certain position on the back of your printer, without adding any resistance, so it doesn't compromise print quality.
A small filament tensioning clip, which is simply clipped around the filament and will keep it tense, so it won't unreel from the spool.
You will need the spring of a clothes-peg to combine the two halves of the clip, as well as some kind of a weight to stick onto the clip. I used a large metal washer, but anything that you can glue to the clip is just as fine. You can experiment with different weights, but I found 20-30 grams to be adequate.
There are two versions of the tensioning clip: one with a lug to press a washer onto, and a flat one.
