FIFA World Cup Lithophane Lamp by Voladd

Now YOU can get the FIFA WORLD CUP as a LAMP to illuminate your room!
Combining the FIFA World Cup model by Bekarion and the Spherical Lithopane World Map of Domi1988 we have created a unique lamp that will make your way to the finals.
PRINT SETTINGS
Both objects have been printed in PLA in the Voladd 3D Printer, designed and manufactured by Tumaker.
The UPPER, MEDIUM and BOTTOM BASE stls have been printed in 0.6 but you can print them with bigger or smaller nozzles
The world_light.stl must be printed with 0.4 or smaller and without bottom layers
Regarding the electrical installation, we have used a G9 220 - 240 V bulb and lamp cap. You can use whatever you want as long as it fits correctly.
PRINTING PROCESS

Firstly, print all the parts in your Voladd or other 3D printer following the previous settings.


Introduce all the electrical installation from the upper part of the base inside the object until it reaches the bottom before gluing the three parts (UPPER_BASE.stl, MEDIUM_BASE.stl and BOTTOM_BASE.stl)


Once that the parts are correctly glued, protect the lamp cap with paper, apply filler and then sand the object to have a better finish.


Apply bonding primer and paint it with a gold metallic paint spray. We have added a couple of green lines for it to look more like the original FIFA World Cup. Also, we recommend using less quantity of paint in the world_light.stl to have a brighter lamp.
