This is a set of 3d print files for create a cosplay prop of Servant of the Lancer Class Bradamante’s Lance from the Fate Games/Anime series. I created it to go with a cosplay I’d purchased.
It's split into several parts because the final prop is 60cm long at 100% scale, which looks about right for me. The parts are scaled to fit a CR10 type FDM printer with a 30cm bed. If your machine is smaller, either edit the inlcuded blend file and make new pieces or split the stls with meshmixer.
You need to print the top and bottoms twice, one regular, one X mirrored, then one of Spiral1 and 2, Diamond1 and 2, Handle bot and top, Blade top and bot. The pins are optional parts to help you join the parts together. Pin2 connects the bottom to the handle, Pin1 connects the handle to the top, Pin3 connects the spirals to the blade, you'll need 2 of these. Spiral1 fit Blade top, Spiral2 connects to Blade bot. Pin Blade helps join the two halves of the blade together, you only need one of these. But you need 6 Pin Body, these join the 2 halves of the top, handle and bottom together. You might have to adjust the scaling of the pins (I used about 97%) depending on how accurate your printer is.
You should glue most of the parts together, I used Zap A Gap Cyanoacrylate, but if you get a good fit, you can leave the top, handle and bottom as friction fits so you can disassemble the lance for transport.
You'll notice from the original design, the blade, spirals and diamonds float in mid-air... presumably by magic. If, like me, your magical powers are somewhat limited, you'll need something physical to connect them. I didn’t think a 3d printed part would be strong or stiff enough, so I used some 2mm brass rod instead. You could use steel, brass, carbon fibre etc rod etc, or print something if you’re brave, I’ve left 2mm holes in the parts to fit rods.
