This is a custom fan mount for:
hot end cooling: 1 axial fan with 40mmx400mm
printed part cooling for extreme overhangs: 3x 50x15mm radial blower fans
holding DC42 IR z-Probe
Everything can be printed without supports.
Just make sure that you print the fan shrouds on the tip.
You´ll need some m3 screws and nuts. i also recommend to add some spacers.
You need to tighten the screws and nuts quite strong: the blower should not rotate downwards. In a next revision i´ll add some mechanism to prevent the blower from falling down (happend only once until now).
I also added some brass threaded inserts after some weeks of printing, but i don´t think this absolutely necessary.
Some minor notes:
One blower cools the IR, which seems to be no problem.
There is enough room for silicone sock around the heater block
nozzle ends quite high above the printed parts
this is design iteration no. 4 (1-3 have never been released, currently working on 5)
this is my first upload :-)
step files are attached for further customization, but please do any changes as a remix
feedback is always welcome

January 2018: Still my favourite design. Altough i´m thinking about reducing the number of blowers to 2 or 1 and distributing airflow via a better fan duct.
February 2018: I´m currently working on adding holes for nuts so one does not have to screw in plastic. Furthermore i´m working on a second version where the IR probe mount can be used to attach normal endstop switches
March 2018: First Version for endstop switches runs fine. I´m currently improving the heat sink cooling air flow and testing some minor changes. Probe will be attached via rare earth magnes. As my IR probe died by accident i´m lucky i got the first switch version running (suprisingly well to be honest) at the right time :)
