Since I want a heated build chamber, emphasis on heated, I don't want to be evacuating all of the hot air throughout the print so I designed the blast door so that I can keep it down (~sealed) while the print was ongoing and then flip it up after the print is done to vent the chamber. I ordered a fan controller so I can flip on some fans after I open up the blast door. The fan controller and the fans were meant for desktop computers, but it's perfect for my weirdo application. Eventually I'll set a filter in front of the intake to filter out the ABS fumes/particles, but I haven't gotten there yet.
The design for the blast doors was pretty different for me. Because I had to integrate movement into it, I had to stay super cognizant of where the hinge pin would be during the rotation of flipping it open and closed. I copied the door itself and made several copies of it rotating the copies around the pivot point to make sure they would each clear the opening.

If anybody wants a version without the spidey symbol just let me know. My printer being named the Black Widow lends itself to a lot of spider accents.
Here are the associated pieces of equipment I used with the build:

[Full Disclosure. These are Amazon affiliate links. I get a small kickback if you order through these links. If I ever get enough traction to get this far it would help me with filament for prototypes, but so far not even that much. :) ]
Let me know what y'all think. Thanks!
